Automatic Locking Differentials include the Detroit Locker, Powertrax Lock Right and Powertrax No Slip which provide equal torque to both axles whenever torque is applied and unlock automatically when coasting through a corner. This allows the axles to turn at different speeds when cornering and reduce tire wear. The following application guide also includes Mini-Spools and Spools, which replace the internal parts of a standard differential and supply equal torque to both axles at all times. Spools are typically used in racing and off road applications, as normal street use will result in tire chirp and excessive tire wear.
